Global Bara Mineral (GBM)

Global Bara Mineral (GBM) is a company engaged in coal trading and transportation, focusing on the sourcing, sales, hauling, and distribution of coal for both domestic and international markets. The company provides integrated services covering coal procurement, logistics, and delivery for various industrial sectors.

Although GBM was officially established in 2025 in Palembang, South Sumatra, it was founded by a team of professionals with more than 15 years of experience in the coal industry, logistics, and supply chain management. This strong foundation of expertise serves as the backbone for ensuring service quality and smooth operational performance.

As part of its expansion strategy, GBM was later acquired by Gasoil Karya Utama (GKU) and became a subsidiary of GKU Group, a holding company focused on the oil & gas, energy, and mineral sectors. Following the acquisition, GBM strengthened its coal supply chain, expanded trading capacity, and broadened its domestic and international market reach. The company’s headquarters were subsequently relocated to Sun Life Tower, Mega Kuningan – South Jakarta, to enhance access to financial institutions, corporate partners, and strategic networks.
